there are endless awful things done to animals and these really touch me the most...
i agree, it's a perpetual display of wanton greed. i hope the humans all die off someday and the animals can run free.

Brings to mind the way we chop down rain forests just so 'we' can get our beef fix even though beef doe not digest well in humans. Such a waste of animal life, such a waste of good food (says this look suffering veggie)for those that are starving.
