I got a really nasty virus or something yesterday that made my Pc going crazy, I don’t have sound from Internet & Windows Media Player, only the start and end pc sound.
The virus affected my antivirus and at this moment I don’t have anti-virus and I can’t download it, because after the download it’s done automatically is removed, I try many anti-virus and is always the same,

but they can't steal what you do here and elsewhere...

sorry to hear that...and not to be able to help much. i've had a similar problem and after since i save all my work on my d-link network storage and on cds..so frustrating...because eventhough nothing is sure.
i hope you manage to save your stuff and to come back soon...

damn that sucks! i got viruses on two of my computers, haven't been on much because its effecting my internet connection.
hope you figure out the problem, have you tried going into safe mode(if you use windows xp if anything else i have no idea) and locating the virus there?

but it's a strong virus...
the only way is deleting all the stuff from Pc & formating...
